Kimberly, WI - September 18th marked another successful run for the Crane Engineering relay teams at the Fox Cities Marathon. Nine associates from various departments across the company (plus a spouse!) participated in the event.
The sponsorship is part of Crane Engineering's "Pump It Up" wellness program.
"The number of participants on our sponsored relay teams has grown over the last few years," says Jenna Gillis, Human Resources Manager. "We hope the trend continues."
Employees also hope the trend continues. "Race day is always fun," says Sara Peters, Marketing Supervisor. "I'm so glad that Crane Engineering provides this opportunity to participate. Preparing for this event is one of the main reasons I run in the summer months."
"We encourage anyone and everyone to participate. You don't have to be the fastest, or an avid runner," says Team Organizer and Parts Inside Sales Representative, Gary Schneider. "We just want people to do their best and be healthy."
Schneider and the rest of the team hopes to grow the number of teams from two, to three for the 2017 event.
