Crane Engineering Awarded Sika's Project of the Year Award

Las Vegas, Nev. - Sika Flooring awarded the Project of the Year award for Decorative Flooring to Crane Engineering in recognition of a completed flooring project at a Wisconsin elementary school in 2019.

Sika Flooring hosted their annual Project of the Year awards program late January 2020. Winners are selected for four categories: Decorative Flooring, Industrial Flooring, Specialty Flooring, and Judge's Choice. Winners are selected for quality of workmanship, overall aesthetics and design, ability to meet unique customer requirements such as colors, textures, surface hardness, chemical or other resistances, and building owner satisfaction.

Crane Engineering's project at Eleva-Strum elementary school was selected by Sika Flooring for the Decorative Flooring Project of the Year. The school weighed the options of carpet tile, sheet vinyl, or floor coating and found the benefits of the floor coating outweighed the cost and maintenance of the other options.

Market & Johnson was general contractor on the 40,000 sq ft project, and Bray Architects provided design and color scheme direction.
