Crane Engineering’s Tech Expo Features New Fluid Process Innovations

Kimberly, WI, February 27, 2013: Crane Engineering is planning to host its 14^th Tech Expo, themed “Driving Results Through Innovation” on April 25^th, at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, downtown Appleton. New product innovations will be on display from over 35 top equipment manufacturers, including Goulds Pumps, Gorman Rupp Pumps, and John Crane. Select manufacturers will present Tech Sessions during the event to educate attendees on numerous current topics including phosphorus water treatment, water discharge regulations, managing assets for reduced lifecycle cost and increased production efficiency, and general pump maintenance tips. Crane Engineering plans to draw over 300 attendees, including maintenance, engineering, operations and procurement professionals working in manufacturing and municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.

“The economy has changed a lot in the industry since our last Tech Expo, but one thing has not changed; the need for operations to do more with less,” said Lance Crane, CEO of Crane Engineering. “Technology in this industry has exploded in the last two years; so our Tech Expo will focus on advances in fluid processing that are helping companies achieve higher efficiency rates, and reduced costs.”

Crane Engineering is working with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, the Wisconsin DNR, and Michigan DNR to have tech sessions accredited, providing education credits to engineers and other attendees in the water and wastewater industries.

At the conclusion of the day’s events, attendees will share a beer with Green Bay Packers legend, Larry McCarren while he speaks about current Packers news, the NFL draft, and fields questions from the audience.
