Emmi Roth Dairy Plant

Facing the relentless demands of the food industry, the Emmi Roth Plant sought a flooring system that could withstand the harshest conditions while upholding rigorous hygiene standards. Crane Engineering from Kimberly, WI, tackled this challenge head-on by installing 7,000 square feet of Sika Decoflake flooring and 36,000 square feet of Sika Ucrete flooring.

Sika Decoflake flooring was installed into break rooms, locker rooms and labs since it's perfect for high traffic areas. This flooring is known for its durability and resistance to different environmental factors including abrasion and chemicals.

Sika Ucrete, a cementitious, self-leveling polyurethane slurry, was chosen for its durability and hygiene benefits. Its seamless application eliminates cracks where contaminants could hide, simplifying cleaning and maintenance. The self-leveling feature ensures a uniform surface, enhancing safety for plant personnel.

No matter the industry, we got you covered.

This isn't the first time Crane Engineering has won an award from Sika

In 2019, Crane Engineering's project at Eleva-Strum elementary school was selected by Sika Flooring for the Decorative Flooring Project of the Year. The school weighed the options of carpet tile, sheet vinyl, or floor coating and found the benefits of the floor coating outweighed the cost and maintenance of the other options.

Market & Johnson was general contractor on the 40,000 sq ft project, and Bray Architects provided design and color scheme direction.
